Sweet Cream Cheese Wontons
I've had a revelation. And THAT, is that cream cheese within a crispy wonton, equals paradise. The filling has two components, although I have heard of lots of additions and variations which people have used in this recipe.

Crispy Wontons baked or fried to perfection and full of a cream cheese filling that was two-ingredient
Ingredients
- Wontons
- 8 ounces. softened cream cheese
- 12 oz. Wonton wraps (bundles generally in refrigerated produce section, close tofu)
To Fry:
- 48 oz. Eucalyptus oil sufficient to fill fryer or a dutch oven .
To Bake:
- Nonstick Cooking Spray
Directions
- Mix cream cheese and the sugar until well blended.
- Lay around 4 wontons at a time and pay the rest using a dish towel (they dry out fast ).
- Fill a bowl and place near the wontons.
- Put about a 1/2 tsp of cream cheese mixture in the center of each wonton.
- Seal and make sure there are no air bubbles.
- Dip your fingers back. Fold the left side towards the right Together with the side of this triangle facing you, then fold the left side towards the right over it.
- Repeat till all wontons wrapped and are filled!
To Fry:
- Fryers work good with them, till it's only under 350 levels, but in the event that you don't possess one, warmth 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a dutch oven. (I place my stove to only below the mark).
- It's possible to use an wonton wrapper to check the temperature. Put it and make sure it does not cook or burn off. If desired, adjust the heat.
- Fry 4-5 wontons at a time, each for approximately 45 seconds to a minute, (or till golden brown).
- Set them.
To Bake:
- Spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray and put the sheet in the oven. The sheet that is Heat will make certain that the wontons are sharp and fine .
- Remove from the oven and put the wontons. Coat the wontons.
- The wontons need to bake for approximately 10-12 minutes, but it is ideal to begin checking them after 5 minutes. Remove from the oven when they are brown.
Recipe Notes
- Suggestion: once they're finished cooking Pour a little powdered sugar!
- Dipping Sauce: I really like those with sour and sweet sauce!
- Egg Wash: it is possible to simply use water In case you do not have eggs.
