CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING


Even the idea of Christmas makes me grin. While writing this I'm imagining a plate filled with sparkling Christmas tree, Christmas biscuits along with house atmosphere.



My son keeps asking me"Mother is Christmas coming shortly? Perhaps you have been a fantastic boy? Am I really going to get a gift from Santa?" I adore holidays, particularly Christmas, due to the chilly setting that is relaxing.

Christmas Sugar Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting are ideal for the holiday - Christmas, particularly for people who enjoy sugar snacks.

Ingredients

COOKIES

  1. 3/4 cup cornstarch
  2. ⅛ tsp salt
  3. 1 egg
  4. 11/2 tsp vanilla extract
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
  1. 4 oz cream cheese
  2. 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  3. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  4. Sugar

Directions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cornstarch. Put aside.
  2. Moderate speed, until it becomes soft and light in another dish set sugar and butter and mix well with electric mixer. Add an egg and vanilla and blend until blended.
  3. Continue mixing including ingredients. Knead it well. Place on the table and set the dough.
  4. Roll up the dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut on it. I used a glass 2.4 inch . Set the biscuits.
  5. They ought to be. Place in the oven and bake for 8-9 minutes. Take them from the oven and leave to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets.
  6. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool.

To Create the FROSTING:

  1. In dish blend butter, vanilla and cream cheese, using a hand mixer, moderate speed. Add sugar and blend.
  2. Divide the mix. Until you receive the colour which you like, add red food colour in the initial one, gradually. Place green and leave the one white.
  3. Spread onto the cookies and scatter.

Store in a sealed container.
