AIR FRYER SWEET POTATO CHIPS
I am sure all of us have a weakness when it comes to snacks. My bite weakness is fries. I really like everything about these. The pinch, the taste...it all. I needed to develop strength and the endurance to deny myself those crispy snacks once I lost 130 lbs.
I really must get back on the right track and have not worked hard. Is the fact that it is a much more healthy choice for foods. The atmosphere fryer is a better choice since it's a superb method to reduce calories and fat WITHOUT losing taste when you are not setting out to lose a great deal of weight!
Ingredients
- 2 medium sized Sweet Potatoes sliced
- 1 tsp of ground Cinnamon discretionary
- Pepper and salt to taste
Directions
- Slice the potatoes thinly. Use a food processor or a mandolin.
- Scrub the potato pieces.
- The pieces dry . Repeat several times until dry. Significant really is this step to make sure chips.
- Toss the sweet potato pieces with olive oil, pepper and salt and cinnamon (if using), making sure each piece is coated with acrylic.
- Grease the atmosphere fry basket.
- At 390F, air fry the potatoes in batches for 20 minutes, providing a shake every 7 to 8 minutes for cooking to the basket. Atmosphere fry for five minutes that are extra if it not clear.
Recipe Notes
Don't over crowd the atmosphere fryer basket. Or it will'steam' rather than becoming'fried'. Rather than cinnamon, you may use any kind of choice. Herbs, curry powder, garlic powder together with paprika are all options that goes nicely with potatoes.
